My ex-bf 28M wanted to be friends with me 27F after the breakup but as soon as he switched the job, he blocked me. What does this mean?

So me and boyfriend broke up a month ago, but decide to he friends. Initially I was okay with the idea, but later I thought it is difficult to ve friend with him and I told him and said no. But he wanted to do it and I also said yes then because I would be still in contact with him. Also we went to same office. But them he was on his notice period then. His last working day was yesterday. And a fight happened yesterday night and today morning and he blocked me. It has been more than 7 hours that he has blocked me. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he did this in anger and because of fight, but it’s been 7 hours and also he never did such thing before.
Now I feel like a fool. I am thinking that he wanted to stay friends till the time he is office so that he is not the bad guy, he doesn’t have to face awkwardness and create a scene in front of others. And now he knows that he doesn’t have to meet me and the only contact will be through phone, he blocked me.
I don’t know what to make out of this situation.

Just let go of this idea that you and him cud’ve been friends. He got a new job . And he is moving on. Maybe he wanted to keep things civil as you worked in the same office. May be he needed your support for some work in office or to just paint the entire picture of the breakup in a different way. There was some really selfish guys out there. People have different ways of fuelling their narrative and they literally do anything that supports them. More or less nothing lasts forever. And definitely not something like this. So better to stop wasting your precious energy on this man. He’s just another guy who was with you till it was convenient for him . I say good riddance .
