How do couples have sex at home when other family members live with them?

I am a 26 years old male, unmarried and a virgin. I am curious to know about the sexual behaviour of married couples.
Let’s say a married couple lives with their family members. So obviously they won’t be able to make love to each other without any inhibitions. Do couples have sex only at night when everyone else goes to sleep? Do they have sex with the lights ON or OFF?
With the lights ON, it may attract the attention of the family members. We all know that many Indians live in joint Families with their Inlaws and Brothers, Sisters sharing the same room. So how do they mange to have sex? Do they make plans to stay out of the house for given hours in the day or do they hang curtains in the same room for privacy?

Usually couple has the separate room for themselves so they can easily have sex in the night and even at the day time when they go for the nap after the lunch. It is up to the couple whether to keep the light on or not and it would not make them embarrassed if they have separate room. However, if the family does not have the separate room for the couple then it is really hard for them to have sex without getting embarrassed.

Very interesting and pertinent question. If there is will, there is the way. Sex is primitive urge of human beings and it is fundamental right of married couple.
Couples adjust themselves according to situation and accommodation available in the house. We have always done sex activities in dark room and kept torch with us. In my staff quarter, we had two rooms. When we had small children’s in winter, we shared same quilt and performed sex fully nude.
My daughter is 15 months older than my son. When they grew up, daughter shared bed with mother, son with me…..we used to fuck in another room or on the floor of same room or whenever we get opportunity after they left for school/college or when I came back from my College after delivering Lectures etc for taking Lunch.
Sometimes I finished sex in Quickie or done sex in bathroom. In summer,we mostly finished the sucking and fucking on roof…when children’s doing study. We chalked out plan for sex in advance.
