I am a 20-year-old woman. I am obese but am shedding weight gradually. However, I haven’t got my period for six months now. I also have a hormonal problem and my testosterone level is a little higher than normal. My gynecologists’ says that I need to lose weight to see any improvement; I have stopped going to her. Can you recommend a medicine which will start my menstrual cycle?

Have faith in your gynaecologist. Continue to lose weight. When you reach your correct weight, I am sure it will help you to get your periods. Look in the mirror every morning, and be confident. You will soon be normal.
