I am a 42-year-old woman and have been happily married for eight years now. But, now — I’m not sure whether it’s because I’m bored or if there’s another reason behind it — but I find that I want to have sex with females. I can’t stop thinking about this though I never used to before. But now, even when I meet my old friends, I feel like I want to hug them and touch them, even sexually. I told my husband about this the other day, and he wanted to know more. But the conversation only aroused him, and then we had sex. I don’t mind having sex with him, but it is not pleasurable for me. What I want, is to experiment with a female partner. Does this mean that I am a lesbian? What should I do?

Consider this: will the fulfilment of your present desire disturb what you have described as a happy married life? Given your answer to that question, think about whether you should you continue with your lesbian behaviour. To satisfy yourself, perhaps you could hug and touch your friends, but not go further. This may not disturb your present relationship, as your husband is also excited by it.

If you don’t enjoy sex with your husband, and want to or enjoy sex with a woman, you are lesbian.
If you don’t enjoy sex with your husband but enjoy sex with other men, you are not attracted to your husband anymore.
Do you have any woman in mind to try your lesbian desires? Beware of people you find on internet, they might be frauds. Talk to your friends if they are interested in lesbian sex. Include your husband for threesome sex if the other woman is bisexual.
