My thirteen year old son has been taking showers a little too often, sometimes, two to three times a day. I suspect he may be masturbating. What must I do?

At this age, children start to explore their bodies and go through hormonal changes. It’s a perfectly natural stage of growing up, and as a parent, you can support your child by teaching them about sexuality and having honest conversations about it without making them feel guilty, ashamed, or embarrassed. As an alternative, give him some self-help books about sexuality that he can read and comprehend. For now, find solace in the knowledge that he is exercising additional caution when it comes to cleanliness, particularly with COVID.
