My friend had a sex video chat with his Girlfriend on whatsapp for last 2 hours and recorded it through a powersoft screen recorder app. He then shared it through a shareit App. from one phone to another.
He now deleted it from everywhere. He even broke his SD card where it was saved. But he is still very much worried. He was asking me that can anyone see that video or is it saved on whatsapp, powersoft, shareit servers etc?
Once before he did save some videos of hers on picslock app and then he deleted. Now, please tell me what should I say to him, to relieve his tension?

Your Friend is partially right. It is a mis-conception that data once deleted is deleted forever. I know Friends who can retrieve any data for a price from Mobiles and PCs. There is a Tool called Android Data Recovery which can assist one to recover not only SMS text messages and contacts, but also pictures and videos from Android phone or tablets.
Whatsapp does claim that their messages are encrypted and cannot be read by others when it is transmitted. But your Friend has made the cardinal mistake of sharing the Video and though he may have deleted it from there, as long as the instrument is in possession of his friends, they can get it retrieved, if they wish.
Remember, there are Hackers, that even Governments cannot control and they operate in the Dark Web, where their identity cannot be traced.
In any case, all your Friend can do is to forget about what he has no control over and just hope that the Videos never surface.
