It is not suggested to have sexual relations during the first six to twelve weeks of pregnancy or during the final eight weeks of pregnancy because this could result in miscarriage. Unless recommended otherwise for medical reasons, having sex is generally permitted throughout the fourth to seventh month of a pregnancy. In order to relieve pressure on the woman’s abdomen and promote mild movement, it is recommended that the woman be positioned on top and the man below, or that they both sit. This should happen between the fourth and seventh month of pregnancy. The man’s weight presses down on the lady when he is in the missionary position, and he may unintentionally move rough. The fetus might be disturbed by this. Women who have experienced prior miscarriages or whose pregnancy is at risk of an abortion should refrain from engaging in any sexual activity that could cause them to experience an orgasm, as this could pose a risk of uterine contractions. Forceful air blowing into the vagina during oral intercourse (cunnilingus) can be risky since it can result in “air embolism,” or an air bubble in the blood.
