Dear all,

I am asking this question on behalf of my friend. He is suffering from Pott disease ie TB in spine. Though it is curable with medicines and will take 1-1.5 years, he does not want to continue his relation with his girlfriend who loves him very much.

He does not want to give her any pain and so does not want to let her bear any problem because of his disease and that is why he wants to break this relationship. He is doing this because of his love towards her as he also loves her very much.

Kindly suggest what he should do?

In fact, he is in process to give pain to his girlfriend if he breaks the relationship just because he has some medical problem. Will he leave his girlfriend if she suffers from such diseases? Moreover, it is curable so breaking up the relationship is unjustified and has no valid reason in my opinion.

If you have an influence on your friend then you can argue logically with him and ask him not to break the relationship for a silly reason, as it is very hard to find true love. Such disease is perfectly curable so no need to worry in the least.

I perceive no reason for the break up. If you feel then discuss the issue with his girlfriend probably she is in the best position to deal with such situation. Being a friend, you should have to support your friend. Do not interfere in their relationship out of the way.
