I am 65 and I live away from my wife. I have a maid who is 40 years old and who sleeps in the kitchen. Last night she came and embraced me and requested me to have sex with her. I declined. I told her it’s a sin. My worry is she may ask me again. What should I do?

Let me clarify that sexual activity between two consenting adults is not a sin. What you mean here is probably her sexual behaviour towards you does not align well with your values of sexuality. I understand it’s a difficult situation for you, given your age and distance from your spouse, and also a dependency on the maid as a caregiver. If she asks again, you can give her reasons that you are committed to your wife and this is a breach of trust that you have with your wife, which is unacceptable to you. You can consider getting your spouse back home or reuniting with her at the place she lives in currently. Keep a watch on the maid’s reaction and if things turn normal post your feedback.
