am 46 years old and I have been married for 17 years now. I also have a 16-year- old son. Since the last three months, I have been experiencing Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation. Till early this year, I was enjoying sex with my wife (ie twice a week at least) but it all changed for the worse very quickly. I tested positive for Covid-19 during that time also. I am not sure these issues of mine are due to post Covid impacts. I do not have much stress. I exercise and I also control my diet. I don’t think that I’ve even developed a mental state that I won’t be able to perform any more. Can you please advise on how I can get back to my sex life as before? Is there any link to age factor? Can you suggest any medication?

Sexual dysfunctions that you are experiencing are ‘symptoms’. The underlying cause (or causes) for these symptoms need to be found out. You being detected with Covid-19 may or may not have affected your sexual capability. Any amount of guesswork on this, even by an expert can go completely wrong and be proven inconclusive. Thus, it is most advisable in this situation for you to personally consult a qualified and experienced sexologist, who will examine you and investigate into the actual cause (diagnosis) of your symptoms and give you specific and appropriate treatment.
