Is it normal to brush my wife’s hair or do I have hair fetish ?

My wife has very soft silky brownish hair. I really love her hair. Everyday in the morning I brush her hair(exactly how women brush their hair in morning. Here instead of her I brush her hair.). Also many times when we are together I run my hands through her hair.
A friend of mine and me were discussing about our married lives when this topic came up. He told me that I probably have hair fetish and it would help if I took psychiatric help.
So should I continue brushing my wife’s hair ? It doesn’t take much time. She also likes it. Or do I need to take psychiatric help ?

You are absolutely normal buddy, why worry about fetish? What if this act of your’s of brushing the hair of your wife is a fetish, if both you and your wife are having no problem with this act what is wrong in doing it, instead for many women the routine act of brushing their hair is a annoying task which now she is enjoying with your help. So as long as you don’t make a mess of her hair/hair style you should continue doing it with her consent.
I wish to disagree with your friend’s advice of taking any psychiatric help. This action of yours in all probability is making your wife realise the importance of her hair & should be giving her confidence. Please remember you don’t have to speak out the words “I Love you”, such small acts of yours say it louder than you can actually shout and also they will be directly hitting her heart. You surely have found an easy way to show how much you care about your wife!!!!!!!
